I slept late yesterday, but I got up early. I decided to go out when I got up. I prepared my small bag quickly. I got my wallet, phone, and keys to my house. I always carry one small book in my bag, and if I do not read it, I continue to carry it in my bag. So, I took a step in front of the door. I locked the door with my keys, and I wore my running shoes. They were not clean, but I did not care. I just hoped that nobody would see my dirty shoes, and I was sure nobody would care about what I wore. In my city, people generally live their lives in solitude. People can see that one person walks by the sea alone. It is possible, and it is about our culture. In the west of our country, people came to create a new life from east regions, but some people could not make it.
I was walking, and I saw too many people sitting in the chairs of the cafes. Some of them were speaking with their friends. Seeing that made me happy because talking and sharing your ideas with other people is the most valuable fact in the world. In this city, you can easily share your opinions with the inhabitants.
In this city, you might see tourists who came from other countries, such as England, Korea, and Germany. We have strong historical facts here, and other countries’s people want to see these histories. We have the sea, beach, museums, markets, and nightclubs. You can see easily that tourists enjoy here because Çanakkale has a lot of opportunities to experience our culture. They love our museums and history. Also, seeing that they do not care who won the war is great, especially nowadays, because this fact is decreasing. People are getting more and more racist today, and a lot of people do not care to be racist. They think it is normal and that it is a way to live. They do not notice that this fact creates some separations within cultural areas. For example, I saw some foreign people in the sea and they were enjoying themselves together. It is a good aspect to see cultural diversity in Çanakkale.
The morning was sunny, but clouds were in some places in the sky. Also, the weather was rainy. Interestingly, I love rainy days because it makes me feel free to feel sad. Çanakkale has a lot of bad weather days, and I like it. I went out for a lot of time to experience stormy days here. I love Çanakkale’s this aspect. You never know the weather in the future.
