It is a fascinating movie and it is my first time to watch a movia about colored maid people's life. The movie reveals a lot of facts about colored maid's life. The movie examines the role of maids in the daily life, especially as working in a house with serving to white poeple. The movie shed on light to how difficult their lifes and how colored people have (or don't have) a life-work balance.
Interestingly, the most shocking event is using toiltets. White and colored people don't use same toilet becasue of hygenic reasons. In the movie I realized white people act like colored people have some diesases and come down with this disease if they use the same toilet. Additionally, the location of toilets differ. All colored people's toilets are located in basement or in the outside. We see a colored maid is fired only because of attempiting to use a white's toilet.
Our main character has a purpose to stop it and decide to write a book about happenings. Skeeter try to get attention fro colored maids and fails at first. Then, she is succeed on get attention from Aibileen and they start to write a report about their experiences. Aibileen express her feelings on take care of a child instead of her little one. She expresses feelings about how is it like spending your most time with a white family as a maid. Skeeter takes each one of details.
After a short time, almost all maids decide to join to this report. They feel ready to admit their real feelings so they make an important contribution for how is it like a clored maid in a white family. Skeeter listens all of them patiently and shows respect. As a result, she publishes a book that is called "The Help". All white neighbours of Skeeter read the book and show disrespectiful behaviours to the content. However, we see that the book is becoming a famous all around the country and Skeeter take a good price from sellings. She apportins the total price to colored maids who made a contribution to the book.
As a result, we see happier maids and how writing is impactful to make a change in the minds. Also, we gain an idea about how is it be like being a colored maid at past.
